FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW

This system will allow

The Cycle Count Scheduler allows users to build up a cycle count schedule of items that need to be counted.

cycle count tab  - when scheduled type counts are selected.

STANDARD PROCESS

The main screen will give you the option to filter the outstanding cycle count schedule items by Warehouse and Bin, these will be displayed in the grid.

  • To create a

new cycle count
  • Cycle Count schedule, click the

“Add
  • Add to

Count”
  • Count button

which will display the second screen above. 
  • Once a warehouse is selected the Bin Type section will list the different types of bin and how many there are of each. The user can select which bin types they would like to include in the schedule.

  • The “ABC” class is only available if pick face bins have been selected, the user can then select which bin linked to certain ABC Classes should be included in the schedule.

  • The schedule section allows the user
    • on the Cycle Count Scheduler screen.

    • The Open Cycle Count screen will open.

    • Select a Warehouse.

    • The Schedule section allows users to enter how many bins they would like

    counted
    • to count per week (

    • for a 7-day week, weekends and public holidays included).

    Due dates are calculated by taking the number of bins to be counted per week and, starting with the current date assigning it until the number per

      the date will then be incremented by 7 days and

      7-days will then increment the date. They will be assigned to the next group of bins, this will be repeated until all selected bins have a due date.  

    • The Bin Type section will list the different types of bins and how many there are of each.

    • Select the Bin Types that must be included in the schedule

    • The ABC Class section is only applicable if a Pick face Bin Type was selected. The user can then select which Pick face Bin is linked to a certain ABC Class and must be included in the schedule.

    • Select Add to add the selected Bins to the Schedule. Once Add has been selected the data grid on the Cycle Count Schedule screen will populate.

  • If the user right clicks on the grid there will be an option to delete a bin from a schedule or to delete an entire schedule.

    • The option exist to also right-click on the data grid and Delete Selected Count (a Bin) from the schedule or to Delete All Count for Date/Time, which will delete the entire schedule.
