FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW
This system will allow users to build up a cycle count schedule of items that need to be counted. These will then appear on the users scanners on the cycle count tab - when scheduled type counts are selected.
STANDARD PROCESS
The main screen will give you the option to filter the outstanding cycle count schedule items by Warehouse and Bin, these will be displayed in the grid.
To create a new cycle count schedule, click the “Add to Count” button which will display the second screen above.
Once a warehouse is selected the Bin Type section will list the different types of bin and how many there are of each. The user can select which bin types they would like to include in the schedule.
The “ABC” class is only available if pick face bins have been selected, the user can then select which bin linked to certain ABC Classes should be included in the schedule.
The schedule section allows the user to enter how many bins they would like counted per week (7 days weekends and holidays included). This section also displays how many bins will need to be counted in total for that selection and the estimated end date of that schedule.
Due dates are calculated by taking the number of bins to be counted per week and starting with the current date assigning it until the number per week has been reached, the date will then be incremented by 7 days and will be assigned to the next group of bins, this will be repeated until all selected bins have a due date.
If the stock code is added as a filter to the first screen before selecting add to count, all results will pertain only to the bins in which that stock code has a quantity greater than 0 at that time.
If the user right clicks on the grid there will be an option to delete a bin from a schedule or to delete an entire schedule.
Once a bin has been counted and confirmed on the cycle count screen it will be removed from the schedule.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Counts where their due date has been missed will be displayed in red.
Total Outstanding counts is displayed in the right hand corner
If the screen stays open for more than a minute a message will pop asking the user to refresh the grid, this is to cater for any changes that could have happened to the bins before creating the schedule.
