Stock Take and Cycle Counting / Stock Taking / Stock Taking [STK001]

<intro text>After a snapshot of the current quantities within SYSPRO has been taken, you can populate the DATASCOPE WMS Stock Take data grid.

This is required to start with the physical counting of inventory on the warehouse floor.

  • On the Main Menu, browse to Stock Take and Cycle Counting / Stock Taking / Stock Taking

For more information on the Stock Take By Bin module, refer to Stock Take by Bin

  • The Stock Taking screen will open

  • Select the same Warehouse you have selected in SYSPRO

Note:  Notice the Information note next to the warehouse field stating that There is currently no Stock Take open for this Warehouse. This message is related to the DATASCOPE WMS stock take table and not SYSPRO.

  • Select the Start WMS Stock Take button

  • The Information note next to the Warehouse will change to Stock Take Started Successfully

  • Select the Refresh icon to load the data in the data grid

  • The DATASCOPE WMS information will populate on the left-hand side of the data grid. The Stock code, Description, Lots, current TrackIDs, Bins, and TrackID quantities will display

  • The right-hand side of the data grid will be blank

  • Next, the users on the floor will start counting and capturing each Bin and each TrackID logically and sequentially with the scanners - Counting the physical inventory

Note:  Your standard company policies should be enforced during this stock count and capture process. For example, to have two users per count team for a count double-check. The first user will scan and count, and the second user will mark (with a set of stickers) the TrackID and Bins that are completely counted.
