HTML5 - Bin Transfer [??]
When a client wants to move kit-issued stock into a WIP Warehouse with a scanner-based warehouse transfer, the Warehouse must first be flagged as a WIP warehouse.
Info |
---|
Note: The Bin Transfer module on the HTML5 scanner screen must be used to move kit-issued stock into a WIP Warehouse. If the destination bin of a Bin Transfer transaction is in a different warehouse than the supplying bin location, a Warehouse Transfer is automatically performed in the background. For more information, refer to HTML5 Bin Transfers. |
A system setting must be updated to flag a warehouse as a WIP Warehouse.

Note: DATASCOPE WMS inherits SYSPRO’s warehouse list automatically. |
Locate the GENERAL System Name
Search for the WIPWAREHOUSE SettingName and change the SettingValue to Y(es)
Select Apply in the bottom right corner to save the change.

Note: Any TrackIDs that are moved into a Warehouse flagged as a WIP Warehouse automatically becomes INACTIVE, and DATASCOPE WMS loses control of the TrackID. The stock on the TrackID will be managed in SYSPRO only from that point on. |
These warehouses are called SYSPRO-controlled warehouses and are not Datascope WMS-controlled warehouses. The kit issued materials are then managed in SYSPRO ONLY, and SYSPRO’s Kit Issue settings take effect.
