Datascope WMS can manage stock codes with an inspection requirement. Datascope WMS will automatically receive inspectable stock codes into inspection from SYSPRO and immediately rerelease them out of inspection in SYSPRO, but it will be left as On Hold within Datascope WMS, so it cannot be picked or invoiced.
To release these pallets with an On Hold status, the Simple Quality Inspection module must be used.

From the WMS Main Menu, you can browse to Inbound Receipt / Quality Check / Simple Quality Inspection. Select the Simple Quality Inspection option to open the window.
The Simple Quality Inspection Module window will open.
Use the easy filtering options at the top of the screen to locate the pallets that must be released.

Note: Ensure to select the correct warehouse first. |
Select the Refresh icon to refresh your filtering options.
The data grid will populate with the list of pallets with a Status of On Hold
After inspection, you can tick the tick box under the Accept or Reject columns, indicating the pallet can be taken off hold (Accept) or must remain On Hold (Reject)
The InspectionReference is a free format column that can be updated with any comments relating to the pallet. This will be posted back to SYSPRO once ready to Post.
Select Post at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
The software will process your changes.

Note: If a pallet must remain On Hold, it must be dealt with by a supervisor to write off or quarantine the stock. If it has a status of On Hold, it can’t be picked or invoiced. |
