Stock Take and Cycle Counting / Stock Taking / Stock Take By Bin [STK002]
After reviewing the SYSPRO Stock Take Variance Report, you might need to re-count any variances you are unhappy with.
If you don’t like reading, you can watch the video.
Try it!
To perform a re-count, rescan the bin and TrackID using the Stock Take by Bin HTML5 screen.
A pop-up message will indicate that the bin was already scanned.
Enter the new QTY. This will replace the existing QTY already counted.
Select Post to post the new QTY counted.
The re-count will reflect on the Count Details. Right-click on the line and select Count Details.
When working with a large amount of data in the data grid, you can use the Quick filters at the bottom of the screen to search for a specific stock code, TrackID, and Bin.
Post a new data set to SYSPRO after a re-count.
After you have performed a re-count, post a fresh data set to SYSPRO.
First, cancel the SYSPRO Stock Take within SYSPRO. Under SYSPRO Programs, select Inventory / Stock Take System / Stock Take Cancelation.
Then restart the stock take under SYSPRO Programs / Inventory / Stock Take System / Stock Take Selection. This will clear the data in SYSPRO, and you can post the stock take again.
From DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS, select the Post to SYSPRO button to post the fresh, re-counted data again.
This will ensure any incorrect legacy data from previous posts will not remain behind in SYSPRO and that the re-counts have been posted correctly.
Re-run a SYSPRO Stock Take Variance Report to review the figures. The stock take can be confirmed once comfortable with the QTY variances and the financial impact.
