Lot and Expiry Control Report [RPT008]

This report is used for companies running SYSPRO’s Lot Traceability module only to indicate what stock is about to expire, going to expire, or has no expiry date set. The operator will be able to make changes to the lot expiration date.

• Enter a date range in the From Date and To Date field.

• Select the Refresh icon to load the data grid.

• Any stock item expiring within the selected date range, including expired stock items, will be displayed in red.

• If you select “Show only 00/00/0000 Expiry Dates”, the detail grid will display only those items that should have expiry dates in SYSPRO that do not.

• If you select “Show only expired stock,” the detail grid will display only those expired items. I.e., the expiry date is earlier than the Today’s date.

• The detail grid can be filtered by Stock code or Lot number.

• The SysproExpiryDate field is editable. If any dates need to be changed, make the change on the screen and click the “Update” button. This will update the expiry date for the selected lot number and stock code.

• Users can right-click on a row and select Update Expiry - All Bins or Update Expiry - This Bin. A System Setting will allow or disallow users to use this functionality of only updating stock expiry dates in a specific bin.

• The detail grid can be exported to Excel and actioned accordingly.

TECHNICAL

• A new system setting has been created to allow or disallow users to use the new functionality of only updating the stock expiration date in a specific bin. To update this setting, browse the Ribbon Bar to Settings / System Settings. Locate the setting LOT_EXPIRY_CONTROL and update the ALLOW_LOT_EXPIRY_CHANGE_BY_BIN to Y(es) or N(o). If the setting is set to Y, the right-click menu option Update Expiry - This Bin is enabled. If the setting is N, the right-click menu option Update Expiry - This Bin is visible but disabled.

• Release note 24.3 (Ticket #9227) - A new setting has been introduced to enable or restrict users from updating only the stock expiry date in a specific bin.
