Error received when trying to logon to FASTTRACK WMS application.

The following error message will display while trying to logon to the FASTTRACK WMS application.

System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 192.168.111.23:80

   at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress)

   at System.Net.ServicePoint.ConnectSocketInternal(Boolean connectFailure, Socket s4, Socket s6, Socket& socket, IPAddress& address, ConnectSocketState state, IAsyncResult asyncResult, Exception& exception)

 Solution

If this exception is thrown, then verify if the Docker Engine Service is running or not. This service should always run.

  • Open Services by searching for it from your Windows Search icon.

  • Locate the Docker Engine Service

  • Right-click on the Docker Engine Service

  • Select Start/Restart

  • The Status should display Running
