The hardware requirements for DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS are highly dependent on several factors, namely the following.

  • Type of Environment

  • Number of SYSPRO and WMS Users

A starting point for the hardware requirements should first be based on an analysis of the SYSPRO environment. SYSPRO provides a nice Hardware Calculator to determine the base server requirements for the SYSPRO side of things.

The next step is determining the DATASCOPE WMS Server requirements, which will depend heavily on the selected environment. Essentially, there are two options: the recommended option of a separate WMS Server OR installing DATASCOPE WMS on the existing SQL/SYSPRO or SYSPRO Server.

  • Windows 11 (Latest Updates applied)

  • Memory Requirement – 6Gb or Higher

  • CPU Requirement – Intel Core i5 (9th Generation) or Higher

  • Chrome Browser (Latest Updates applied)

DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS Client Server (Recommended Min. Specification)

  • Windows 11

  • Intel Core i% + 8Gb memory

  • Server part of the Active Directory (AD) environment

  • MS Excel installed (various screens have the option to ‘Export to Excel’)

  • .Net Framework 4.5.1

  • Bypass proxy for the WMS Server IP address in IE.

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2

  • Server part of Active Directory (AD) environment

  • Minimum 32 Gig memory

  • Barcode font for code 128

  • .Net Framework 4.5.1 or higher (part of the App Server Roles)

  • Intermec Print drivers (printers are installed on the server)

  • Crystal Reports 2005 and 2008 Redistribution packages

  • IIS 8.5 (Web Server Roles)

SQL Server (Based on SYSPRO 3-Tier Server configuration with DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS)

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (or higher)

  • Server part of Active Directory (AD) environment

  • SQL 2016 or higher

  • Minimum 32 Gig Memory (dependent on the number of SYSPRO users)

  • Dedicated drive for SQL Data (.mdf) independent of OS

  • Dedicated drive for SQL Log (.ldf) files independent of OS and SQL Data drive

  • E.Net Webservices Installed and tested.

  • E.Net Diagnostics installed.

Exclusions: Anti-virus should be excluded from the SYSPRO/SYSPRO61 folder and TCP/IP folders.
