Operator Labeling (ID Card) [LAB003]

This screen is designed to print a more durable, ‘credit card’ sized color operator label. This, however, requires a special card printer on-site.

This Operator Label is similar to the normal Operator Label but is more durable and robust. If the special card printer isn’t available on-site, contact your local DATASCOPE Solution Provider (DSP) to assist with printing the cards.

  • To start printing these Operator Labels, the Log on details of each Operator are required. This is achieved by uploading a *.wmsuf file, by selecting the Open button in Step 1

Any WMS user must be a valid SYSPRO user, and all SYSPRO operator and group permissions and securities carry over from SYSPRO to DATASCOPE WMS. So you’ll need to ensure that users are first created within SYSPRO.

  • To create the *.xml file, that must be selected after Open has been selected:

    • From the Main Menu, browse to System Setup / User Setup / https://datascopewms.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FH/pages/69238802

    • A list of all licensed DATASCOPE WMS users will display

    • Select the Export button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

    • The bottom pane, list all the licensed users. You can just select the users whose log on details you want to export. The selected Operator’s name will be highlighted in blue.

    • In the Password field, you must enter the SYSPRO password for the specific Operator selected.

    • Enter the SYSPRO company password in the Company Password field.

    • Select the Authenticate button. When the Authenticate button has been selected, a SYSPRO login will be performed in the background, confirming the Password is correct.

    • A pop-up will appear informing you that users will be logged out of the system while Authentication happens. Ensure to inform the Operators.

    • Once Authentication is confirmed the user’s name will move from the bottom pane to the top pane on the screen.

    • To create the Export file, select the checkbox next to the Operators whom require cards to be printed. If all Operators must get cards, select the All button

    • Once all the Operators has been selected, select the Export button to create and save the file.

    • A Windows Save dialog will prompt you to select a location to save the file. (Please take note of the location of the file)

    • Select Save

    • The file will be saved with your Company name followed by a *.wmsuf file extension

    • Select Close and return to the Operator Labeling (ID Card) screen.

Users will be logged out of all instances of DATASCOPE WMS while Authentication happens.

  • Browse to the location where you saved the *.wmsuf file.

  • Once selected, all the users in the file will be visible in Step 2

  • Select the checkbox for each user who require an Operator Label or select the All button.

  • In Step 3 you can select how many Operator Labels must be printed.

  • Select Print

  • A Printer pop-up will appear. Ensure the correct Card Printer is selected.

  • Select Apply
