Error Messages

While running FASTTRACK WMS, there may be instances during your day-to-day transactions where the system can detect that error conditions will be returned.

These error messages can occur in various modules and transactions.

When an error occurs, you will see a description of the error and a possible resolution on the error message. You can also press Ctrl+F1 to view further documentation about that module.

This user guide will briefly review the FASTTRACK WMS Error Management system.

1  Viewing the detail of an Error message

To view an error message, you must first perform an incorrect transaction. Let us do a TrackID Consolidate on a pallet.

  • Open the TrackID Consolidate module from the Main Menu and type in a TrackID in the TrackID field.

  • If you select TAB, the screen will populate with the data.

  • Enter the Quantity. (Enter a quantity less than what is available in SYSPRO).

  • Enter your To TrackID number. Select Post

  • The following error message will appear. This error tells us that insufficient stock is available to perform this transaction. There is an imbalance between the SYSPRO stock and FASTTRACK WMS inventory.

  • In the Possible Resolution section of the error message, you will see an explanation of performing a Cycle Count transaction to get the two systems in balance before trying to process this transaction again.

  • Clearly defined Error messages are on these pop-ups, with a Possible Resolution explanation. Viewing the technical information of the error messages is also possible.

  • Click on the View Details icon in the bottom left corner of the error message pop-up.

  • The text file will contain the exact wording of the error message that the SYSPRO business object has generated.

  • The text file can also be saved.

  • Click on the Save icon next to the View Details icon.

  • The software automatically generates a zipped file containing the text file, which can be saved on your Desktop.

Note: This file must be sent to Support Agents to assist with resolving your error if you cannot resolve it yourself.

The software is trying to divide by zero. Please check the SYSPRO master data for this Stock Code and ensure that important fields like PanSize are not set to zero.

Bin not found

Please enter a valid bin location.

Error converting data type

The data entered is not in the correct format. Please check your data, including any date entries. An incorrectly entered date format can cause this error.

The data entered is not in an expected data type. Check that all SYSPRO key types match the FASTTRACK WMS key types. Check that no alpha characters have been entered where numbers are expected.

Incorrect operator password

Please enter a valid operator password.

The input string was not in a correct format

Check your data entry. Your date format may be incorrect.

Check your data entry. Also, check any System or Warehouse Settings relating to this module.

Invalid company password

Please enter a valid company password.

Inventory must be in the same period as WIP

Your SYSPRO Inventory module and WIP module must be in the same period to post this transaction. Please contact Finance to correct in SYSPRO.

The Lot Number has expired

This Lot Number has expired in SYSPRO

Lot Number not found for the specified Stock Code

SYSPRO does not recognize this Lot Number as linked to this Stock Code

The period for GL module is closed in SYSPRO

Your SYSPRO General Ledger is closed. Please request your finance department to open the GL period.

Source and destination bins may not be the same

Please select a valid bin location to scan your TrackID into

Stock Take not open in SYSPRO for this Warehouse

There is no Stock Take open for this Warehouse in SYSPRO.

The bin does not exist in SYSPRO for that Stock Code in that Warehouse

Create the bin in SYSPRO and reprocess the transaction

The operation has timed out

Your transaction timed out on the server. Please repost the transaction. If this error occurs regularly, please notify your IT Administrator.

The Picking Bin has not been created for this Pick Slip

Please configure the DEFAULT_BIN Warehouse Setting for this Pick Slip's Warehouse

The TrackID scanned has no bin association

Please check that the TrackID entered is valid

The TrackID scanned is not found or is not in an ACTIVE status

Please check the TrackID and scan one that is in an ACTIVE status

The underlying connection was closed

It would seem that your device has lost communication with the server. Please wait 5 seconds and try again. If the error continues, please notify your IT Administrator.

There is insufficient quantity in SYSPRO to issue components to this job

Please check SYSPRO stock figures and rectify it before re-posting

There is insufficient stock available for the transaction to be posted

This bin location needs to be cycle counted and corrected before you can post this transaction. Please notify your Cycle Count team and continue with other transactions in the meantime. Once the Cycle Count has been accepted, you can continue with this transaction.

There was an error processing the data for this transaction

Please close the application and retry.  If you continue to see this message, contact your IT Administrator.

There was an error saving information; the save will cause a duplication of data in the tables

This can be caused by multiple operators posting at the same time. Please retry the transaction and if you continue to get this message, contact your IT Administrator.

There was an error trying to reference the SYSPRO Sales Order line associated with the Pick Slip

This Sales Order line was removed from the order after the Pick Slip was released. This line must be unpicked off the Pick Slip before the balance of the order can be processed.

This is not a valid bin location

Please re-enter your bin location

This Operator code has been disallowed from this SYSPRO Company

Your SYSPRO Administrator has blocked access to SYSPRO. Refer to your SYSPRO Administrator for assistance

This Sales Order is currently open in SYSPRO

This order is being changed in SYSPRO, and the order has been locked. Please contact Sales to ask the user to close the order.

This transaction has failed on your server: HTTP 404

 Your server rejected this transaction.  Please repost the transaction. If the error continues, please notify your IT Administrator.

WIP and Inventory modules are not in the same month

Your SYSPRO Inventory module and WIP module must be in the same period to post this transaction. Please contact Finance to correct in SYSPRO.

WMS Printer Configuration Error

The selected printer for this SystemAction is not installed on the FASTTRACK WMS Server. Please take this message to your IT Administrator for assistance.

WMS Report Error

The rpt filename configured for this SystemAction cannot be resolved.

Your device has lost connection to the server

It would seem that your device has lost communication with the server. Please wait 5 seconds and try again. If the error continues, please notify your IT Administrator.

Your logged-in session is no longer active

Your user session has timed out, or you have logged into another device with this user ID. Please re-login

Your operator code is still logged in on another device

Log out of the other device before you log in to this device

Your password has expired
