Inventory Receipt [MOV005]

This module will process a straight unplanned receipt in SYSPRO and then create and print a TrackID for each receipt.

This module is seldom used as it allows an Operator to process a receipt of inventory from nowhere. All receipts would typically be from a Purchase Order, LCT, GIT or a Job.

Select the To Warehouse where the stock will be received into.
Enter or select the To Bin where the stock will be received into. A default Bin where the stock will be received can be configured under System Settings.

Notice the option to Exclude picking bins at the top of the Lookup Bin screen.

Enter or select the Stock Code to be received.
The Unit Cost and UOM (Unit of Measure) will load automatically.
Enter a Reference for the transaction. This will be posted to SYSPRO’s movements as a reference.
Enter the Quantity to be received.
Select Post.
A new TrackID label will print out. Ensure the correct printer and .rpt template is configured against the logged in warehouse.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Lot traceable items cannot be receipted.

TECHNICAL

Ensure the correct printer is linked to this module and logged in warehouse. To set up the correct printer, refer to Printers [SET090]
Ensure the correct report template has been set up against the System Setting. From the Ribbon bar, select Settings / System Settings and locate INVENTORY_RECEIPT in the System Name drop-down. Update the BARRELLABEL value to the correct .rpt template.
To configure a Default Bin that will appear in the To Bin field for the selected To Warehouse can be configured under System Settings. From the Ribbon bar, select Settings / System Settings and locate INVENTORY_RECEIPT in the System Name drop-down. Update the DEFAULT_BIN to the required default bin location..
