Receipt Job (Mobile) [REC054]
Job Receipts occur after the manufacturing process is completed and the finished product(s) is ready to be received into inventory to be sold. This screen is used to process the job
receipts of manufactured products back into inventory.
Job Receipts can typically be done on the PC and scanner screens.
The finished product is ready to be received into the warehouse’s inventory.
Scan or type the Job number in the Job Number field.
Note: The Job number is bar-coded on the Job picking slip for easy scanning.
The window will load automatically with the Stock code, Description, and Job Qty To Make
The Outstanding Qty to receive will also display
If the finished product is Lot traceable, then a Lot number will also be required
Note: The default FASTTRACK WMS implementation will set the lot number to match the job number. This can however be edited, by typing in the new number, if required.
The Expiry Date will default to the SYSPRO shelf life of the item being receipted
Note: If the product is not lot traceable, the Lot Number and Expiry Date fields will remain empty.
Enter the quantity required to receive in the Quantity field
Select Post
This will now perform a job receipt of the Qty against the Job in SYSPRO and create a new TrackID with the entered stock code, and lot number if applicable
A Change Printer pop-up will appear requesting you to select a printer
Select Apply
The TrackID will now be ready to put away in the warehouse. Use the Put Away module on the scanner.
SPECIAL FEATURES
While it is possible to generate Job Receipts on the HTML 5 scanner, it does not account for Kit Issue items or Receipting Finished Products onto more than one TrackID per post. The scanner is designed for quick entry on the warehouse floor, and stopping the user to edit Kit Issue quantities would interfere with its purpose.
TECHNICAL
When printing to a physical printer you must ensure that the System Settings is configured correctly. The JOBRECEIVING setting under Settings / Printers on the Ribbon Bar must point to the physical printer.
