Stock Take by Bin [STK057]
The software also allows stock taking for a range of Bins, not an entire warehouse. During this step, users will physically start counting the stock on the warehouse floor for the selected Bin range on this HTML5 screen.
Start by selecting the warehouse (it must be the same one you have selected in both SYSPRO and DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS) you are counting.
Next, the user will scan (or type) the first bin location in the Bin field.
Scan the TrackID within the Bin location. The software will then automatically load the first stock code that is theoretically living on the scanned TrackID.
The Description will load.
Next, the user must capture the actual quantities of stock within the TrackID.
Select Post.
A pop-up message will appear, stating the Post was successful.
If you refresh the PC-based Stock Take By Bin screen under Stock Take and Cycle Counting / Stock Taking. You will notice that the scanned items will be populated on the right-hand side of the screen. Each scanned item on the right-hand side will be next to the original line on the left-hand side.
The above process must be done for all the selected bins in the bin ranges selected in SYSPRO.
Performing a re-count
After reviewing the SYSPRO Stock Take Variance Report, you might need to re-count any variances you are unhappy with.
To perform a re-count, rescan the bin and TrackID.
A pop-up message will indicate that the bin was already scanned.
Enter the new QTY. This will replace the existing QTY already counted.
Select Post to post the new QTY counted.
The re-count will reflect on the Count Details. Right-click on the line and select Count Details.
