Dispatch Put Away [SHP093]

Some companies have physical Dispatch Cages, each with its own Dispatch Bin location. When the pick slip checkout and invoicing process is complete, each pick slip for a specific route is scanned into a Dispatch Cage using this screen.

  • Enter or scan the pick slip into the Pick Slip field.

  • Enter or scan the Dispatch Bin into the Dispatch Bin field.

  • Select Post.

Note: This transaction does not move inventory in either DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS or SYSPRO. It simply saves the Dispatch Bin location against the pick slip.

  • The Dispatch Bin will be visible on the Pick Slip Review screen in the Bin Location column.

  • Pick slips can also be moved from one Dispatch Bin to another Dispatch Bin. The Dispatch Put Away HTML5 screen can also be used for this.

  • Scan the pick slip, and the current Dispatch Bin location will be displayed in the Current Bin field. Scan the new Dispatch Bin. Select Post.

  • This module can be used with the Load Planning module, but is not a mandatory step in the process.
