SYSPRO Master and Custom Data fields
SYSPRO
During the installation phase of FASTTRACK WMS, certain SYSPRO Settings must be updated to work with FASTTRACK WMS.
In this user guide, we will discuss these key fields. Please note that all fields discussed in this user guide might not all apply to FASTTRACK WMS. Some of them are only applicable to DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS.
DATASCOPE WMS strongly advises you to work with your SYSPRO VAR to ensure that any changes to the settings mentioned in this user guide are appropriate for your business processes. DATASCOPE WMS takes no responsibility for incorrectly configured SYSPRO settings.

SYSPRO Stock code setup
Some key fields that pull through from SYSPRO to FASTTRACK WMS are the Stock code, Description, and Long Description.
Other important fields are the Stocking Unit of Measure, Alternative Unit of Measure, and Other Unit of Measure fields due to the conversion factors between these fields. These units of measure pull through onto nearly every transaction screen within FASTTRACK WMS, where you need to enter a Qty.
These must all be configured correctly within SYSPRO, as this is what the users on the warehouse floor will look at whenever they enter a Qty.
Follow the steps below to view and update these fields:
Open your SYSPRO and browse on the Program List to SYSPRO Programs / Inventory / Setup / Stock Codes
The Stock Code Maintenance screen will open
Type or search for your stock code (for example, LOT100)
Let’s review these fields:
o  The Mass per stocking unit field, under Stocking Unit Metrics, is used in the FASTTRACK WMS Grocery Pack transaction and should be correctly configured in SYSPRO if you want to use this transaction in FASTTRACK WMS
o  The Volume per stocking unit, under Stocking Unit Metrics, is used for the Carton Cubing transaction in the premium version of the software, DATASCOPE WMS. This is not applicable to FASTTRACK WMS
o  The Maximum number of decimals under the Other Options heading is also required for FASTTRACK WMS. The stock code and Qty fields on the HTML 5 scanners-based screens are limited to the number of decimals configured in this setting
o  The Pan size setting, under the Replenishment window, is used to calculate pick face bin sizes and for bin utilization
o  The Lot traceability field, under the Tracking window, is interrogated in FASTTRACK WMS to define whether the stock code requires a lot number and expiry date for every transaction
o  If the Traceable field is set to Inspectable it is also visible in the FASTTRACK WMS PO Receipt module
o  The Lot Shelf Life (days) value, under the Tracking window, for lot traceable items is also pulled into several places in FASTTRACK WMS when performing Job and PO Receipts
Warehouse Maintenance for Stock Code
Other fields that must also be considered are located under the Warehouse Maintenance for Stock Code screen. To view these fields:
o  You are still in the Stock Codes Maintenance window (to locate, browse to the Program List / Inventory / Setup / Stock Codes)
o  Select the lookup icon next to the Stock code number field (top left of the SYSPRO Stock Code Maintenance screen)
o  The Stock Codes window will open
o  Right-click on your stock code (example: Lot100) and select Warehouses
o  The Warehouses for Stock Code screen will open
o  Click on the Change Warehouse button to open the Warehouse Maintenance for Stock Code window
o  The following fields on the Warehouse Maintenance for Stock Code window are used in FASTRACK WMS:
§ The Cost multiplier field is referenced during the FASTTRACK WMS PO Receipt process. If this is set to a value greater than one, the Cost Multiplier values will be able to be inputted during the PC-based PO Receipt process in FASTTRACK WMS
§ The Pallet quantity value is used during the FASTTRACK WMS PO Receipt process to default the Qty of that stock code per TrackID
§ The warehouse Default bin location value is used in FASTTRACK WMS Put Away transaction to identify a Zone into which a TrackID should be placed. This default bin location can also be printed on the pick slip to assist the picker to locate the stock in the correct area of the warehouse
Sales Order header fields
There are also standard SYSPRO Sales Order header fields that are used in FASTTRACK WMS.
To view, in SYSPRO, browse under the Program List to Sales Orders / Sales Order Processing / Sales Order Entry
Open the Sales Order Entry screen
Select Function / Order Maintenance
Several obvious Sales Order header fields, such as Customer Code, Customer Name, Ship Date, Order Status, etc. are pulled into FASTTRACK WMS to assist the user when releasing Sale Order
Three other important fields to take note of are:
o  The Ship Via field is populated with the method of transport
o  The Ship Via Code field is populated with a code
o  The Delivery Route field indicates the specific route, for example, North
o  These three fields are used as a filter on the Sales Order Wave Release screen when releasing pick slips for multiple Sales Orders within FASTTRACK WMS
o  To view these filters on the Sales Order Wave Release screen, you can browse in FASTTRACK WMS on the Main Menu to Order Release / Pick Slip Release / Sales Order Wave Release
o  Various filters are available to filter the Sales orders to be viewed in the data grid
o  The Ship Via and Delivery Route, pulled through from SYSPRO, is also available on this filter screen. These filters can be used to view Sales Orders for a specific route or method of delivery
Custom Sales Order Header
The last field that we will be looking at is a custom field within SYSPRO to identify the priority of a Sales Order within FASTTRACK WMS. As there are no standard SYSPRO Sales Order header fields that can be used for this purpose a new Custom Form field must be created under the Sales Order Header:
In SYSPRO, navigate to Administration on the Ribbon Bar
Select Custom Forms under the Customization section
Under the Sales Order form, create a custom form field and call it Priority. Give it the field name; PRI001, and select Save
Select the Form Field Sales Order
The Custom Form Design – Sales Order window will open
Select New to create the new field
Type the name Priority in the Caption field
Type the number PRI001 (this is an example) in the Field name
Select the Save button to save it
Navigate back to the Sales Order Entry screen in SYSPRO
From the Program List browse to Sales Orders / Sales Order Processing / Sales Order Entry
Go to Functions / Order Maintenance to open the Sales Order Maintenance screen
Next, you must drag the new custom field onto your form
Right-click under the Sales Order header and select Field Selector
From the Field Selector for Form: Order Header you can click and drag your new custom form, called Priority, to the Sales order Header section
   Â
You can then populate it with a priority. Example: High, Medium, Low
Remember to select End Order to save the Sales Order details
The next step is to create that Custom Form field in FASTTRACK WMS
o  Open FASTTRACK WMS
o  On the Ribbon Bar, select Settings / System Settings and navigate to SALESORDER_PICKING
o  Locate the PRIORITY_CFF_NAME field and enter the SYSPRO custom form field Field Name
o  Select Apply in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
o  Once this is saved it will also be available on the Sales Order Wave Release screen under the Order Priority Selection filter options
