Load Planning

The Load Planning module is a DATASCOPE WMS module designed to assist Dispatch Controllers in managing routes and truck loads for their company delivery vehicles. This module operates entirely independently from the Shipping module, which is typically used for LTL carriers and couriers, such as UPS or FedEx.

For more information, refer to the Shipping Module User Guides.

Every delivery starts in a warehouse. For companies running their own fleet of delivery vehicles, this Load Planning module is the perfect tool for Dispatch Managers to see orders by route and each order’s progress through the entire warehouse.  All route allocation and delivery sequence numbering remains in SYSPRO against the customer master record. DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS then uses this detail to manage the routes on the warehouse floor.

Other shipping and route planning modules, also available in DATASCOPE PREMIUM WMS, include the Shipping module for companies using contracted third-party logistics providers. The Transport Management System (TMS) is also a must-have, as it provides visibility into your day-to-day transportation operations to ensure the timely delivery of freight and goods.

Module Licensing

The Load Planning module is a separate Module within the product. It must be licensed separately when purchasing the product.
