  • The Add Chart Properties (New Dashboard) screen will open

  • As you’ve seen previously when creating a new KPI, various options are available at the top of the screen to edit and create reports

o   General

o   Axes

o   Drilldown

o   Date Range Selector

o   Additional

  • However, you can add multiple reports to one Dashboard. Let us start by adding the first report. You can select one of the existing KPI reports.

  • On the General Tab you can capture your Chart Title and select the Chart Type. Check the checkbox next to Use Existing KPI and select one of the reports.

  • Preview your chart and select OK

  • As you are busy creating a Dashboard you might want to add more than one report to the dashboard. Select the Layout button in the top right corner and select one of the Add Row options.

  • Various editing buttons are also available at the top right of the screen

o   Save Page – saves all the changes once completed

o   Copy Page – after configuring the report you can make another copy to create another report

o   Delete Page – delete the report

o   Layout – various layout options exist if you select the drop-down

o   Design – various design options exist if you select the drop-down

o   Expand Buttons or Compress Buttons – this option enlarges or decreases the editing buttons

  • An additional row will appear on your Dashboard. You can add multiple rows and columns, depending on the number of smaller reports you want to display

  • Right-click within one of the new rows you have added to your Dashboard and select Add / Add Chart

  • You will notice a small Chart icon appear in the row or column. Click on it to add that chart

  • The Add Chart Properties (New Dashboard) screen will open again, and you can create your second chart for your Dashboard

  • You can add your own Procedure name now or select an existing KPI

  • Follow the same process for a third or fourth chart

  • If you right-click on a row you also have the option to add a Heading to your Dashboard

  • You can set the refresh intervals of the charts. Select the Additional button on the Add Chart Properties (New Dashboard) screen and check the Primary Display checkbox

  • Select Save Page at the top right of the screen

  • A pop-up will appear asking you to add a Page Title (this is the name that will display on the menu under My Dashboards) and Page Name (this is the Internal file name)

  • Select OK

The Dashboard will now be available under the My Dashboard button
